Your Boyfriend or Girlfriend Doesn't Love You
Just because you love someone
doesn't mean they love you back.
- They may say "I love you", but they don't act like it
- They forget to return your calls often
- They ditch plans with you to hang out with friends
- When you are upset, they don't seem to care
- You do more work in the relationship
- They don't talk to you when they're upset
- You do their laundry, dishes, etc. and they don't thank you
- They ask you to do their homework or work for them
- When being intimate, they don't seem to care about pleasing you sexually
- They talk down to you or treat you like you are inferior
- They would rather spend time on the computer or video games than you
- They complain to their friends about you
- They tell their friends about your intimate relationship; ie, brag about sex, etc.
- They've forgotten to get you something for your birthday or a holiday
- You don't go out together as often anymore
- They flirt with other people
- They don't say "I love you" very often, or at all
- They are unreliable-- ie, they tell you one thing but do another
- They are too controlling
- They don't want to hold your hand in public
- They don't show you physical affection, such as hugs and kisses
- They are critical of how you look or act
- When you ask them about long-term plans, such as marriage, they are hesitant or don't want to talk about it.
- You don't feel loved by them.
