How To Make a Man or Guy Happy
by Gloria Liven
Want to know how to make your boyfriend or husband happy for life? Follow these tips!

> Take time for him
Even if you're busy with work or kids, you should still find some time quality time for guy. Communication is important in a good relationship, so make sure you take time to talk to him.

>Give him his own time, too
In a healthy relationship, both partners will have time to themselves.

>Show Appreciation and Respect
So many times, when we've known someone a long time (either romantically, or even just friends) we begin to stop doing those polite things we do with strangers, such as saying "please" and "thank you". Everyone wants to be appreciated, so make sure when you man does nice things for you, that you tell him he's appreciated.

> Flirt and Complement Him

Just because you're no longer dating, doesn't mean you have to stop flirting and complementing him! Take tim to flirt; tell him he's sexy; when he does something you appreciate, complement him!
It will make him feel good, appreciated, and he'll love being around you.

> Be Yourself

Don't try to change to be what he wants. In a good relationship, he'll love you for how you are-- not what you pretend to be.

Don't pretend to be interested in something just because he is. Don't do things you don't want to do, just to impress him.

If you think he won't love you for who you truly are, then maybe you're with the wrong man. Someone who truly loves you will love you for who you are, and not want to change you.

> Care about your looks
You don't have to be a supermodel to keep your man happy. But remember how, when you first started dating, you'd spend time trying to "look pretty" to impress him? Wearing cute clothes, putting on makeup, styling your hair etc.?

Just because you've been in a long-term relationship doesn't mean you should stop caring about your looks. Going around in sweatpants and an old T-shirt is hardly attractive.

You don't have to get plastic surgery-- just put a little time and care into your looks, the same as you would early in a relationship. This shows you care about your appearance, and you'll be more attractive than if you just dress sloppily.

Don't think we're being superficial when we suggest this-- the same goes for guys, too-- he shouldn't start dressing like a slob, either.

> Feed him well
It's sad but true that the way to many men's hearts is through their stomach. A good home cooked meal once in a while is a wonderful thing.

> Don't be afraid to express your sexuality
Don't just lay there like a log when you're making love. Don't be afraid to initiate sex or tell him what you like. A guy doesn't want to have to guess-- show him how to please you, and tell him what you like. Don't be afraid to try new things or take charge, either. You may be the most proper lady in public, but in the private of your bedroom, don't be afraid to get a little wild!

> Communicate honestly
Don't assume he can guess that something is wrong. Don't play mind games and say you're fine if you aren't. Tell him openly and honestly when something bothers you. Men like to solve problems-- so when you're upset, ask him for his advice. He'll feel like you value his opinion, and he'll be thankful that he doesn't have to stress out trying to guess what you're upset about.

> Finally, be happy with yourself.
If you are secure, happy, and confident, that will show in your relationship. The only way you can be happy in a relationship is to first be happy with yourself. Stress, insecurities, or other problems will affect your relationship with your man.
